As part of the construction of the new DOMUS high-rise and the complete renovation of the Zentrum Liebrüti in Kaiseraugst, not only the design but also the technical details were clarified on the respective facade mock-ups.
The DOMUS high-rise, which will be located in the middle of the striking Liebrüti building complex, impresses with its coordinated building shape with rounded corners. The facade materialization and coloring take into account the building shape and the historical environment.
The complete facade of the Zentrum Liebrüti will be renewed and will meet the Minergie standard in the future. It forms the base of the high-rise and thus assumes a central architectural and energetic function. The mock-up shows an example of a window on the upper floor and the newly designed roof edge. The gray expanded metal used has a restrained and elegant effect. It blends harmoniously into the existing building structure and picks up the tones of the windows and railings of the DOMUS high-rise in its coloring. The integrated folding sliding shutters serve as sun protection and give the facade a lively, changeable appearance.
